What is Phospholipid ?

The phospholipid is that class of lipids that is major component of all cell membrane. Theodore Nicholas Gobley was the first biologist to discover Phospholipid in 1847. It was the egg yolk of the chicken which was used for the experiment. In the wake of advancement in medical sciences today we have come to know that there are several uses of Phospholipid within the body.
Natural Phospholipid is being used in several drugs and hence it is a vital part of pharmaceutical industry. It deters fungal infections and therefore stops its growth. It preserving properties also make sure that it is used to preserve perishable goods.  Even naturally there are several uses of Phospholipid which a body does in order to survive.
